New Blog!

I'm currently testing a new blog format using Wordpress. I've got the
account all set up and ready to start posting!

The URL is: http://domness.wordpress.com.

I'll tell you on here or the new blog whether or not I'm going to keep
it. I still need to find out a way to email new posts to the new
Wordpress blog.

You'll be hearing more from me tonight.

Dom.

Wordpress Changeover!

Right! Depending on how my Wordpress account goes, I think I'll be
swtiching to that. They've just brought out a new iPhone App for
posting blog messages including pictures and more! This means more fun
and interesting posts could be made.

I'll post up the URL once I have got my account all sorted out.

Bored...

Right! I'm completely bored!

I'm currently sat in my room bored as anything and I can smell dinner
downstairs! My sister is taking the car out tonight so I guess I'll
have to find my own way somewhere.

I'm still contemplating whether or not to go out to the lake nearby.
By nearby, I mean a good 45 minute walk.

Budgie Cage!

Nice cleaned up budgie cage :)

It's a shame that my budgie doesn't really want to go back inside..

Winpwn

Yey! Just read the Winpwn website and it says they will release the
unlock and jailbreak for Firmware 2.0 for the iPhone within the next
few days. This is good because it means no more relying on Mac custom
firmware!

Also means it's easier to change things on my current iPhone which I'm
selling so I can provide a good service to my friend who is buying my
current one.

Jon!

This is Jon, one of my mates who is with me at Costa Coffee :)

Last day of college!

Wow! What a day!

Been to the gym today for a few hours with a mate. Proper worked hard.

Went to Carphone Warehouse and the O2 Store to buy the new iPhone 3G
but they didn't have it in stock of course. So that means I'll have to
make ANOTHER trip to town! My friend is buying my current one for £100
which is good.

Tonight I think my be a trip to the lake nearby to chill out with a
few mates. I'll probably be taking a few photos of the evening.

Hope everyone is having a good day! I'm glad it's now the holidays so
I've got a number of weeks off from college which should be good.
However, I will be working a number of days per week too.

I'll be posting as soon as I get the new iPhone 3G too.

Emailing in Blogs!

So! This may well be one of my first emailed blogs from my iPhone!

A breakthrough for the blog! - I guess.

I will be taking pictures and things like that on the run and posting them to my blog! Haha. Hopefully with this post you will see a picture taken straight from the iPhone springboard :)

MobileMe - Account Created

I've now created a "MobileMe" account with Apple.

I can now get "Push" email, calendars, bookmarks etc on my iPhone! - Essentially this means that I can change contacts and anything else on a computer away from my iPhone, and within seconds it updates my iPhone with the information! This is cool because it means no LONG syncs need to be made anymore. It also means that no space on my computer needs to be taken up with all the information as it is all done ONLINE! - I even get loads of storage space online for the mail and just general web space to store anything I want for myself or for the public.

After a 60 day free trial I have the option to buy the service at around £49 a year which I reckon is not too bad!

Depending on how it goes, I may invest in the service seen as my iPhone habits will obviously keep seen as it's probably the best thing I've bought in a LONG TIME!

Dom

iPhone 2.0 - Jailbroken!

Yes! I've finally done it!

After days of waiting for PwnageTool to come out, I've now updated my iPhone with 2.0 and Cydia on it. I now have the ability to install unoffical 3rd party apps to the phone as well as doing other things such as SSH etc.

This essentially means that I can now sell my iPhone to whoever I want and it work with any service provider. :)

I'm currently selling it for £100 hopefully this week, which also means I can buy the new iPhone 3G and get it for nothing :)

I can now post blogs straight from my iPhone which is also some good news :)

Dom

Back online!

So! What's next?!

I'm finally back online blogging! - I'll be posting more up to date cool news items and more from my favourite sites as well as other random stuff to fill this up "to le'max". If you've got anything you'd like to say on here, just go ahead and email me or something like that. I'd love to hear from you!

I've now updated my iPhone so I'll be able to post more media packed posts while on the move and also hopefully include some geotagging to make it that more interesting!

Anyway, last day of college tomorrow which is pretty cool. Hopefully I'll have some fun things lined up for this holiday in the lines of partys, raves, new sights and more to blog about.

Anyway, I'm off now to do some things andill be back on later.

Dom.

Mozilla Firefox BETA 5.0

Mozilla Firefox BETA 5.0 is now out!

iPhone News!

Well! What can I say! So much has happened over the past few weeks.

Firstly, the iPhone and iPod Touch 1.2/2.0 BETA has been released and spread all over torrent sites such as The Pirate Bay.

Secondly, the Pwnage tool has also been released for the Mac and is coming out shortly to Windows (within 24 hours). This means that the new firmware can be jailbroken and then restored to the iPhone within iTunes. Also, modified code can be added. This ultimately means that custom firmware can be created and loaded on the iPhone!

Thirdly, a new 3G iPhone will be released in the coming months!

More news soon.
